House Rules

Guidelines for a pleasant and peaceful stay at Villa Bilic

To ensure your stay is pleasant and to avoid any misunderstandings, please read the house rules before arrival. By confirming your reservation you confirm that you are familiar with these rules and accept them in full. Violation of house rules can result in cancellation of the reservation and the full price of the stay being charged, regardless of any earlier forced departure.

Quiet hours

Villa Bilic hosts several families in neighbouring apartments at the same time. Please avoid noise during quiet hours — loud music, loud conversations on terraces, and gatherings in common areas. Most of our guests come to rest and sleep after a day at the beach, and walls and terraces carry sound further than you might think. Thank you for respecting your neighbours' peace — they will respect yours in return.

Important

In the event of repeated noise or disturbance to other guests after a verbal warning, the owner reserves the right to terminate the stay without refund. The full price of the stay will be charged regardless of the earlier departure.

Guest registration

On arrival, guests are required to present identification documents (passport or ID card) for all members of the party for registration with the Tourist Board. Documents are returned within 24 hours. The remaining balance for the stay is settled at this time.

Host support

Throughout your stay your host is available for any information or assistance you might need. If you have any complaint about the quality of the accommodation, please notify the host immediately so we can resolve the issue while you are still with us.

Cleanliness and waste

Guests are responsible for the cleanliness of the apartment during their stay. The host is not obliged to clean or tidy up while you are in residence. Waste is sorted into the provided bins and containers — cleaning supplies, dish cloths, toilet paper, hygiene items and beach towels are brought by the guests.

Personal belongings and security

Guests are solely responsible for their personal items and valuables left in the accommodation. The owner is not liable for any loss. When leaving the apartment, please close windows and lock doors. The owner does not have the right to enter the rented unit in your absence, except in extraordinary circumstances (damage, danger) — in which case the host will inform you afterwards.

Visitors and pets in the apartment

Pets and additional unannounced visitors are allowed only with the host's permission. Bringing unregistered guests or animals into the apartment may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund.

What is not allowed

Bringing any weapons, flammable or explosive substances, or items with strong unpleasant odours into the apartment is strictly forbidden. Use of personal cooking devices, hot plates or electric heaters (fans, etc.) is not permitted without the owner's agreement.

Furniture and inventory

Please take care of the furniture and equipment and do not move it outside the apartment. Chairs, deck chairs and crockery from the apartment are not to be taken to the beach, and kitchen utensils and towels are not for use outside the unit.

Energy use

When leaving the apartment, please switch off the air conditioner, lights and any electrical appliances, close doors and windows, and lower the blinds to keep the space cool. This helps protect the environment and keeps our prices reasonable.

Water and electricity

Please use water and electricity sparingly. Excessive consumption (e.g. taps left running, AC left on all day in an empty apartment) may be discussed with the host.

Damage to inventory and equipment

Any guest who, intentionally or accidentally, causes damage to the property is required to reimburse the host for the full amount of the damage. The owner may request a security deposit at the start of each stay — the deposit is returned after a final inspection of the apartment, or retained if damage is found.

Check-in

Accommodation is taken over at the agreed arrival time. If you are arriving after 8 pm, you must call the owner in advance and announce your exact arrival time. Otherwise, assuming you will not arrive, the owner may offer the unit to other guests.

Check-out

Apartments must be vacated by 10 am on the last day of your stay at the latest. Please let us know your exact departure time in advance so we can arrange the handover of the keys.

Linen and towels

We change bed linen and towels every seven days, or earlier on request. Please do not use kitchen cloths or bathroom towels at the beach.

Complaints

Complaints will only be considered if reported during your stay so we can resolve them while you are still with us. Subsequent complaints cannot be considered.
